Demo discussion: How do I add a new topic to a Discussion page?

Click on the "Add topic" tab on the top right. You will be prompted to give your new thread a subject heading and then give your comment, question, etc, in the box below. Sign it at the end by typing four tildes, this "~~~~", which will automatically insert your log-in name and the date. You can preview what the text will look like on the site by selecting "Show preview" at the bottom of the page, before saving your changes (if you add more, click "Show preview" again to see the update). When there are many threads started on a page, it will create its own table of contents box at the top to help users navigate to issues of interest. Julia Glenday (talk) 09:59, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
